Mystic Riding Land Fish. Feb, 2024
This was a spontaneous evolving design drawing. I did it originally in a spiral bound journal with a 6-inch square format using a blue ball point pen and colored pencils on the original. The original was very compressed then what appears in the final and had a whole lot of the body of the mystic missing. Over time I was able to evolve the figure of the mystic, and place him balancing atop a “Land” Fish (a rare breed indeed). The medallions (what I call them now) that make up the middle of the mystic’s body are borrowed from a domed ceiling that I saw and took a picture of in Andalusia region of Spain. The mystic must have some skateboard riding skills because he is balanced exquisitely upon the Land Fish. Mystics weigh next to nothing and it is a light load and easy sledding for the Land Fish. The mystic is focused on the heavens and is shooting out a lasso into the double crescent magenta moon. The moon answers and the connection is made between the moon and the mystic, and only great things can ensue. Perhaps will see some more of the duo, the Mystic, and the Land Fish.
