I consider “Luminous Journey” to be a mandala. It is an assembly, in that I used other pieces and parts I had already developed with other work, and combined them in an overall composition. The smaller arcs at the four corners and the larger arcs at the cardinal directions are meant to draw your eye both out to the cosmos as well as back into the center.
I worked on using particularly vibrant colors with the arcs to convey abundant light – luminosity.  From my experience when I feel closest to my own soul and in a celebration of life, other people, nature, and objects are more luminous, and the boundaries between my inner self and the outer world are less defined and rigid. It is a taste of being one, of being merged with a higher consciousness and expanding.

Luminous Journey is available as a metal giclée print and a fine art paper print.  The metal giclée print is bonded to aluminum, with a hanging system attached to the back.  The print surface is covered with a cleanable, scratch resist, polycarbonate film. Simply unpack and hang on your wall.  The Fine art  prints have a 1/2″ inch border on all sides and are an excellent choice if you are framing.  Printed on 100% cotton, bright white, smooth texture, museum quality – 300 gsm bright White stock.
